Amart88
I just recieved 2 Fi btl n2 15's in the mail (dual 2 ohm) and when I hook my DMM up to each coil it reads 2.3 ohms??? both coils on both subs are the same but reading 2.2-2.3 ohms. Why is this and is that normal? as i read that fi dual 2 should be 1.4 each not 2.3...... i dont want to have to send them back as it took a month and a half to get them here . My dmm was set to ohms at 200 as thats as low as it can go. Quote My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
Rebel4055
Stick the postive and negative leads together and see what reading you get and subtrack it from the reading at the sub. And for dual 2 2.3 sounds right. Quote Rest In Peace mother. Lbox88
Touch your DMM's leads together to make sure it's accurate. Subtract that value from your readings. Amart88
Yeah when I touch em together it reads .4 so i would end up with 1.8-1.9 a coil, is that ok? Quote My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
