I like the new auto stryker, I'm not a huge fan of tanto blades. Quartermaster knives are cool as hell, but I will never buy one new, they blatantly steal knife designs, but if I find one for a good price used I might pick one up. Chavez are awesome too. My next expensive knife will be a strider, if I Winn the lotto maybe a graham.

My next spyderco will be a all black southard, or a domino. I have been eyeing some new fixed blades from r.s. knifeworks

Idk if I'd get a new knife or not but I work at Menard back in the yard so I'm looking at a nice one under $60. Mostly dealing with concrete blocks, mulch, rocks, and soils. Is there anything out there that can hold up to daily use cutting plastic wrap, tape, thick cardboard, and plastic bandings? And knicking concrete while cutting?

I'd like full blade no serrations, 4"+ blade, assist opening, heavy, and all metal if possible with a window punch. Needs to be able to hold an edge. I hate using my razor knife since it is dull most of the time or I don't have it. They do give us blades tho. I'd also like to daily carry it. I carry either a US army knife I got from David I think it was. Or a Gerber assist opening I also got from him.

Any easy to use sharpeners out there? Tried a wetstone and I failed hard. Use to have a hand held two sided thing that worked alright.

Wet stone is pretty damn good. Maybe practice on it some more.

And everything you described is for a fixed blade lol

Kikazz I would look at the kershaw cryo 2 and the kershaw thermite. Kinda big, strong, and the cryo 2 even is all metal. Both are only 40$. Look into the new kershaw Emerson collaboration knives, Emerson is built with hard use in mind.

A full serrated spyderco like a endura or police might be a good choice, they really never get all that dull and you can't find a better strap cutter.

Or if you want to go to a fixed blade that is a bit smaller but really handy, the eese izula 2 is a good one. Or k bar Becker knives, there are a bunch of different ones of those that are awesome, and not too expensive

For sharpening I use a lansky, it isn't terribly expensive, and works well. There are some sharpeners on ebay that are edge pro knock offs, I hear they are pretty good if you buy new stones for them.
