JEMT8 Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 Well I've decided that I want to stop being a lazy piece of shit and try and get in shape for my 21st birthday. I am looking for some personal recommendations for some running shoes. I will be using them on a treadmill and on running trails outside. The issue is I can't justify spending $100 on shoes I am just going to beat the shit out of. So I would prefer something less than $100 unless they are like an orgasm on my feet while running. I wouldn't recommend going cheap with running shoes. Shin splints are no fun. With that being said, simple asics/Nu balance pairs can be had for around $50-$80 or so. I will say, if you're not running every single day, the shoes will last you a good while. Seems like the running design is being aimed more at the barefoot shoe approach.
