im going to buy an AA havoc 15" and would like it tuned in the low 30s, or how ever people think would be the loudest.

im going for a loud daily driver, and would like a box perfect for the sub.

width-36"

depth-18"

and 17-18 for height"

those are max dimensions.

Go to his website, pay for a design, and then he will.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Ok so here is a Port back/ sub back suggestion on your dims:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 33.097 Hz

Vb = 4.018 ft^3

External Height = 18 in

External Width = 36 in

External Depth = 18 in

Port Width = 3 3/4 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 36 x 18

Left & Right Sides = 15 3/4 x 16 1/2

Top & Bottom = 36 x 15 3/4

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 12 x 16 1/2

Extension = 11 1/2 x 16 1/2

Basic assembly guide without bracing or port optimizations (generic dimensions!!):

AA15.jpg

You need clearance in front of the port of at least the width of the port for proper operation

If you don't want to cut the port through the baffle there is an alternative assembly style.

Let me know any questions.

That looks to be like a nice design for a havoc. What you planning to run it off?
