jrchevy87
i finally got a job to fund my bass lol, i dont have much to update but i ordered 2 new batteries, some firewall grommets, some expandable sleeving, and an ap15001d. i had a few things come up so im not gonna be able to order the sub for a cpl of weeks but ive had my eye on either an fi ssd 12 d2 or maybe an fi bl 12 d2 depending on how much i can save up and how long i can hold out lol, and i cant forget the dd-1. heres some pics of whats been delivered so far and the other batt and amp should be here in a week from now. im also gonna make some modifications to the box im gonna put a 3/4 inch base under it so i can hide all my wires and get it all looking nice and ive got to build a battery box that will fit under my back seat (space is pretty limited in the jeep even though its the extended version) i put that bat on a load tester and i pulled 40 amps and dropped it to 11.5 so hopefully two of these and uprading mu underhood bat will be enough juice i love the look of expandable sleeving it gives that sexy finished look and these 0 gauge grommets are MASSIVE i knew theyd be big but damn lol Jeep Wrangler TJ Hardtop Build

jrchevy87
got a little bit more done, just got the wires soldered and dressed up for my battery bank and now i just gotta get some sheet metal to make the battery tiedowns, i do have to say that expandable sleeving is sexy lol. i still have to get my hands on some good four gauge wire, i bought ten feet from my local audio shop and its the same size as scoshe 8 gauge so i guess i got some good speaker wire, hopefully ill have some more to update in the next few days but moneys tight as i just bought me a motorcycle , hell it was 400 and runs great so i couldnt pass it up Jeep Wrangler TJ Hardtop Build
jrchevy87
I got the battery straps done for my rear bank. I took some 20 gauge sheet metal and made a mock battery then just beat them into shape, i was gonna paint them and put rubber on the inside to protect the battery but i had this carpet so i figured id kill two birds with one stone. I might paint them later cuz im still undecided if i like the carpet or not but they work for now. I just gotta wait for my girlfriend to get home from work so i can install em.
