IKnowImLost224
What can you learn from the subs specs? Can you tell if it's more of a sq/spl sub? What can help determine a all around sub compared to one thats strictly spl for example? This may be a dumb question or may not even be possible but there are sub specs that I look at and have no idea what they mean. These are a few I am curious about and are taken from my RE XXX 15". Coulda been the way I made the box too though it does get very loud especially for an SQL speaker From my experience with them, the 12's like ~4^3ft before displacement, and need at least a 4" wide port to breathe properly. My box was tuned to 32.9hz, at loved frequencies in the range of 25-40hz, but would redoing to 70hz and less. goodluck with yours I blew my last XXX out this afternoon, and am now woofer-less :'( Let me know if you need any more info on the XXX series Quote '08 Chevy Cobalt coupe 2.2 base model trunk build: 2 9512iSC flatwound alum 1.5 coils -extra 9500 spider pack -8" platinum carbon dustcaps 1 DD Z1 (.375ohm nominally daily) 3g31 AGM 320a Ohio Gen alt 1 DD S4 4 channel 4 VO-M8v1's (holes cut for 3rd pair) 2 CS 6.5's 2 VO-B1's Sony XAV-601BT all Knu Krystal RCA's Cadence 7band EQ ______________________ 148.3db @ 32hz (burp) 148.4 @ 37 & 38hz (burp) 146.xdb 90sec average (center windshield)
