Robby Holmes Posted March 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) Its not so hard to build from scratch, and a pre assembled recone should have each spider glued to the spacer and all you do is glue it to the spider landing as well as gluing the surround to the basket edge. Finally, (with centered coil) put on the one piece cap and play. Unless RE does something different IDK I've never reconed one of theirs. -Drew now my lingo may be off, but i dont think the xxx series has the spiders glued together. ill check and post a photo yeah... spiders is why its apparently impossible to recone. You got a dual voice coil! no wai brah... cant be true. cause ya see here... there were two sets of 2ohm voicecoils. that means its just a 4ohm single voicecoil sub!!
