need more hp on my 2004 ford focus

hey i was wondering some upgrades i can do in my 2004 zx3 ford focus to get more hp and help would be apprecited thanks

This. You can do the basic (intake, exhaust, headers) but you won't see much of a gain until you really start getting into it, and even then it won't be very fast. Most four cylinders weren't designed to be quick, they're a commuter car with good mpg. You can make one fast, but you better be saving a lot of money to do so.

you can do exhaust cold air intake.. maybe find a tuning program.. but like others said there wont be a huge improvement at all

steeda and roush racing make focus parts...roush should also still have blower and turbo kits on the shelf for it. A few companies make a header for it...as wwell as gears for the diff..cold air intake and exhaust.

like what Corita said, it ends up on how much money you want to spend to gain some horses. if your willing to spend 700 bucks, forced induction could be something to think about. i would recommend the Garrett GT2056 for your focus.
