trpkkd
I looked at a 97 honda accord today runs good has 2.2l with the 5 speed. Not sure if it's a vtec or not it has like 300,000 miles but is still really solid needs a little body work and tlc but I can pick it up for $200. What do you guys think I've never own a import but heard good things about the honda 2.2l.

trpkkd
That's what I was thinking not only that if gas prices get as high as they say I'll be driving it back and forth to work. I was just wondering if the accord was a good car and how much aftermarket stuff is out there.

trpkkd
I'm going back tomorrow to drive it. It had a flat tire so he's going to air it up. I'll mostly likely be bringing it home maybe have to take some pics.
trpkkd
for 200 bucks? take it and drop a new engine in it as long as the body is decent. Yea the guy hit 2 deer in the drivers side front so it needs a fender and it has a dent in the passenger rear fender but a little body work should be looking pretty good the underneath is solid engine fired right up and runs smooth no noises or anything.
