TUNED TO 38HZ IN A 98 BUICK GOING TO SOUND GOOD FOR RAP AND ROCK,METAL?

DOES ANYONE HAVE OR KNOW HOW A PORTED BOX TUNED TO 38HZ SOUNDS OR WILL SOUND IN A 98 BUICK FOR ROCK AND RAP?

I'm newish to all this so people correct me if im wrong but depends on subs characteristics, car, box size, even if its tuned to 38hz, direction of box even. I have 2 12's in a sealed box, and changing the direction will change the sound drastically.

tuning around 37 hz will be good for a lot of types of music. I tune to 37 and it sounds great on all music. but tuning really only helps to get down low so your subs don't unload. if you have subs with a huge displacement (most good subs). If you have shitty subs you are gunna want to tune lower to protect them from unloading. what kinda subs will you run?

if i just set my subsonicto 30hz on a box tuned to 38 will that help it from unloading?

Edit: 38hz will sound fine, but don't excpect to play 20hz loud and clear unless you really know how to build a proper ported box and control the cones movement. Just depends on what you are looking for in music.

the problem is they are hybrid subs so i dont have t/s specs for them
