Ok I have an opinion so follow me on this one. You can fit 5 but if you put them slanted instead of straight you can fit them. So you'll have a top row and bottom row with the 5th speaker in the spot where the 4th is in the first pic.

id do 4 with a super tweeter in center..or maybe a 4" coax?

1 in stock location, two low to front of panel and one in kick. that way none are firing into your seat and you still have good imaging.

I can tell that's a Ford Ranger panel from a mile away lol. you may have trouble depth wise with the back set if you try them like that b/c of the inner door skin and distance seat is from door. Mazda may be alittle diff but i doubt it.

u ever think of 4 6.5 and an 8 or somethin?
