baaudio
I'm gonna be running a pair of dc lvl 4 m1's on a saz 3k at .5. I'm not worried about electrical. For an enclosure I was shooting for 6 cubes net, 100 sq in port tuned mid 30's. How well do you think these will take it? Amp is set with dd1 using -5 tone Edited April 12, 2012 by baaudio Quote Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k
BeAlLsTaR13
thats gonna be on the large size for a box especially on that power... the subs most likely wont take it, no more than 3 cubes after displacments is needed on that power. baaudio
I'm gonna have a pair. So 6 cubes total. If I end up reconing again I'm getting level 5 coil upgrades. But for now I want to make them last. I've got plenty of room for an enclosure Forgot to mention these are 15s*** Edited April 12, 2012 by baaudio Quote Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k

bumonskateboard6
I run my LVL4 M1 12's with LVL5 soft parts on a DC 3.5k at 0.7 all day and they've been fine for almost a year on that...I wouldn't worry just back off the bass if it starts getting stinky. JohnVincentCavurro
I thought you would only need 3-4 cubes with 2 12's.
baaudio
i already have the amp. and one level 4 15 thats dual 2. just bought a magnet on caco and am gonna just build another dual 2 because its more cost effective. ive been pushing my 18 pretty hard with this amp and know when to turn it down or if im pushing them too hard. i guess this is just one of those things that im gonna have to try and see the outcome. ive seen a pair of level 4s with the level 5 coil run on a dc 5k at 1 ohm. i think they will take the power, but it will be a lot Quote Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k
