No offense dude, but I'm not soliciting or advertising. All I am trying to do is help this guy. If he wants to he can PM the known box builders and they can work it out. I didnt name any names or anything. I am not breaking the rules of this forum and if I am, let the mods tell me that. It's like asking a guy on here (there are a few) to help you do some audio work to your car... It happens here and they are not registered vendors with the forum. But some of them are mods/admins so I guess that makes it all good. Again, no offense.

just wire it to 2 ohms and throw 1700w to the pair, that'll be just perfect for the subs, i wouldnt recommend .5 on a hifonics ampa

and no need for break in time on the sundown woofers, their already about 80% broken in from the factory.

Wait wait. The brz2400 is 2400 watts at 1 ohm. You will only get 1700 watts at 2 ohms. If that's what your using you got the wrong sub configuration and you wont get the full potential out of that amp. You need dual 4 ohm woofers to get 1 ohm.<br />

My long term goal is to get two more 2 ohm subs that way I will have four total and will than be able to go down to 1 ohm on the amp.

But for the time being, these two 2 ohm subs will get me 1700 at 2 ohm.</p>

Using 2 ohms you, will also increase the damping factor of the amplifier that will result in better control of the sub!
