No distortion detected on head unit

Recommended Posts

Guys, about the sub level. Play around with it. On my old x-794, I could turn sub level all the way up. On my new x-896, if I go past '0' on sub level, I get distortion even with zero gain.

Now did you test this with the RCA's direct to the DD-1 or through the amp?

No problem on thread jacking, the more info that gets in here, the more we learn. also, am I correct in assuming that with my HU volume set higher and amp gains set lower, that the amp will not run as hot?

My dd1 showed my pioneer not clipping at Max volume 62 but I stop at 60 cuz I like numbers ending in 0
