AI James
Is there a difference in how each of these companies "bass enhancers" work. I recently picked up an epicenter off ebay and seen alot of the soundstream ones, and wanted to know what the differences in them were. BAGGEDBIRDS.com
All I know is that the Audiocontrol was first. I could take it or leave it. I have 2 of them and used them in a few different systems. Its a fun toy but like all other toys eventally it never gets played with. I have the older model with no controls on it. mine if just plug and play. I seem to use mine for classic rock and thats about it. roscoe1129
as far as I can tell alot of them are just like bass eq's with boost and frequency control. AI James
hmm maybe to further this question ...has anyone any experience with any besides the audiocontrol unit
roscoe1129
I have the 360.2, it has a 10 band sub eq, crossover setting, lp filter, subsonic filter, subsonic is 12/24 db per octave, adjastable freq, and you can use the knob for either master volume or sub volume. Other processors I have used PPI in dash, just had freq, and level, same as others, eclipse, mbquart...... so I wouldnt really call them bass enhancers per say as much as controlers...... I guess..... I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
