I gained 1.5-2 db by grounding everything solid. Use bolts that go through to the other side of the metal, and make absolutely sure you get clean BARE metal. If you are unsure, it should look VERY shiny SILVER. IT will be well work your extra time and effort, and the results will speak for themselves. Just take your time, Can't wait to hear it. Just take your time, Can't wait to hear it.better thing to do...1 run of 0 guage wire to back of the battery to get a direct connection and much better connection mostlyps got fi: didn't notice your box will be tunned to 35hz....around a 147db you could get out...good luck
