PowerHouse407
tuning lower is to hit lower notes. but if your looking for more mid bass don't look at your 15s for that much help. sure you can tune to 45hz and hit the mids if you want but the bass would fade away on a lot of songs. and the vvx is skar audio right? well they are based off of the sundown sa line but have there differences but i know Sas can be put in a larger box no problem. but i don't have any experience myself with the vvx line so they could be act different. littlebuck1919
maybe u need sum midbass speakers in your car ^^this, i think u need some good midbass, not different subs, i mean come on, look at Gary Killian, ur not getting any lower than him and he loves his ride, its a demo beast, u just need more midbass, or for the sake of argument, grab some sony subs and put them in a sealed box...there, not too low and u get some midbass out of em... PowerHouse407
and if you really want mid bass you could make custom door panels for your front stage with an 8 on both sides followed with some 6s and tweets but then your talking some $$$ and work Quote 2003 VW Jetta Wagon AA Mayhem 15's Flatline BA2 2 XS D3100's in rear Shuriken BT80 under hood Mike Singer 250A SHCA and KnuKonceptz wire Big 4+ AQ / Dayton pro mids+monsoon tweets My Build : http://www.stevemead...35#entry1989435
corey0928
I would not recommend putting the skars in a bigger box if you want to over power them, bigger box for less power smaller box for more power
littlebuck1919
maybe try a couple 6.5" subs or something? that way u get a little bit of a kick with the midbass too?? just my .02 cuz thats what id do with that much space Quote Feedback Thread: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/152368-littlebuck1919s-feedback/#entry2177586 i think you'd stick your dick in a blender if it told you it was 40 wtih two kids your age. lol 6/18/82 - 4/17/12 R.I.P. to my sister Shana
PowerHouse407
I would not recommend putting the skars in a bigger box if you want to over power them, bigger box for less power smaller box for more power yes forgot to mention this. so if you will be overpowering them then a smaller box is okay but if you are just doing the Rms then bigger it goes Quote 2003 VW Jetta Wagon AA Mayhem 15's Flatline BA2 2 XS D3100's in rear Shuriken BT80 under hood Mike Singer 250A SHCA and KnuKonceptz wire Big 4+ AQ / Dayton pro mids+monsoon tweets My Build : http://www.stevemead...35#entry1989435

corey0928
unless the 10s will be crossed over to the point where they wont play the same frequencies as the 15 you could be fine, if not you will get cancellation and sound like poo
