scooter99
You've done a sick ass job on this! My only question, and I'm sure I missed it somewhere, but where does the port come out at? Does it port into the trunk? Or does it port into the cabin somehow? Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build

Wicks
You've done a sick ass job on this! My only question, and I'm sure I missed it somewhere, but where does the port come out at? Does it port into the trunk? Or does it port into the cabin somehow? Thank you Sir! The port vents at the top of the box, into the rear deck. You can see it better in the earlier pics of the build where I piece the box together outside of the trunk. I'm going to seal off the back of the box (by the plexi) as good as I can so that everything couples into the cabin and seals off the back of the trunk (no trunk rattle hopefully). There is a lot of thin metal braces in the trunk so sealing it will be a challenge. The M3 has a fairly narrow trunk width between the frame rails so I didn't really have room to port to the front. With my design goals of adding the plexi, I could only vent upwards to get the length of port I needed. The rear deck doesn't vibrate....yet, but we'll see how it goes. It's not ideal, but its the best compromise I could come up with given all the things I wanted to do with the box. Wicks
Nice man. Diggin the mirror Thanks Dude. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Very tricky to install while doing a painted box interior that wasn't done yet.... Its just mirrored plastic and it does scratch easy so I needed to be extra careful with it. Adds a cool touch to a compact little trunk. Plus everybody that's seen it lately thinks that I have four 12's in it instead of two so the optical illusion thing is really working. Wicks
Time for a few more LEDs. Masking off my box so I don't get the adhesive all over everything. LEDs glued Initial results I may add a frosted plexi strip across them to diffuse the light a little and mellow it out a bit. Some quick vids at night to better see the effects (sorry for the quality). Another of the trunk setup so far. Wicks
i like those leds what ones are they again? Thanks Danny. Its just a strip of RGB LEDs with one of these controllers: http://www.amazon.co...d activated led I had a concern about the durability of the little microphone in the controller. I mounted the controller in the trunk which isn't sealed off from the subs yet. I think the bass has beat up the microphone a bit because the lights don't flash the same. When I turn on the controller, the LEDs flash randomly and they actually dim when the music beats..... : Add another hassle to the pile. Ahhh well. May have to add another controller later when I get the trunk sealed off better. How's the Stratus holdin' up? Dude, that demo has me wishing I had a wall..... Appreciate the comment. Yep the XL's should be pretty happy in a few weeks.......... Muhahahaha How'd you get some of those sweet custom parts from Toolmaker? Email, CACO...? I have an idea bouncing around my head that I don't have the means to accomplish correctly. Could he make something from a custom drawing or does it have to be something that he's already making? Dude, your door panels are ridiculous! I may need some advice for some custom pods for my doors in the future. Nothing as extreme as yours but I want them looking really good so I'm willing to do what it takes.
