Hey... what part of Colorado are you in? I would love to check this out in person.

Down in Parker.

Sure thing, its not quite demo ready at the moment (no highs amp / needs some work on some rattles / etc), but hopefully in the near future we can meet up.

Where you at?

East aurora... Iliff and tower. Not to far from you at all. Love the build!!!

Man oh man, that rear deck port is just outstanding. Never knew how much work it would take but I do now lol

You have very good skills and detailed work, love it!! I hope one day I can be as good as you!

Keep it up bud, great score as well

Looking good Keep it up ;) ;)

Thank you Sir! :drinks:

I was honestly thinking that's how you did it. Labels would be good for you to identify what's up quickly. SO maybe a good idea. Thanks for clarifying for me. I appreciate it.

Yep, definitely need some labels. Especially down the road when I forget which cable went to what...... :D

Yeah, not too far at all. Thanks Man! Probly wouldn't be much fun demo'ing right now anyway......in this 5 degree weather....Brrrrrrr

Thanks! Yep, was a good amount of work. It'd be much easier the second time around now that I have a method down.

Still a LOT of sanding though.. :trippy:

Appreciate the comments :drinks:

Lets hope I can bump that score up a little bit.......... ;)

Wicks, all I can say is wow!! I've been reading your whole build for the past 2 days and I'm in awe :-O You took an already badass car and took it completely over the top, from all the fab work, fiberglass, attention to every little detail, it shows. You do great work bud, keep it up, gave me some ideas on my car for the future. Check out my car and tell me what you think, and maybe some ideas... flocking flock!

Labels will be a good idea! Also, you should post up just a few pics of how the car sits currently.

Sorry for the delay.

When you say, "How the car sits". Are you referring to the suspension stance or just the overall status of the audio build?

Here's the stance in case that was the request:

This is a little exaggerated due to the angle of the driveway. The rear end does sit low but looks pretty good and rides well too. :good:

So the weathers been cold and crappy the past couple of weeks so I haven't had a chance to get a lot of updates, especially with Xmas coming up so fast.

Here's a few updates so far:

Added a brace to my amp trim panel to rest on.

575-panelbrace_zpsfa0ae8df.jpg

More with the trim panels coming together.

576-P200testfit_zps2c92b388.jpg

Its been too long since I've had my highs working so I had to toss the P200 back in and make sure everything's still fitting OK.

Nice having highs again although, sure enough, I spoke too soon about the alternator whine.

The battery under the hood didn't help, the alternator whine is back and bad as ever. :(

Looks like I still have a bit of troubleshooting yet to do.

Fuck...

any ideas? Body ground? blah blah blah? damn, that blows bro

Shit if I know...

Always seems to be on the right side of the car as well. :trippy:

My power and ground is on the right so I moved the signal wires to the left side......no help.

Tried different RCA's and different types.....no help.

My grounds should be pretty solid.

I have a few ideas to try out so we'll see.
