Did you try grounding the RCAs on your HU?

No I haven't messed with anything yet, but I do need to check the pico fuses in the Kenwood since they went out before.

I was sure not to hot-swap the cables though so it should be fine but maybe.

I also have some hybrid RCA cables that I was going to do a separate update about.

They're shielded and twisted pair.

The negative outside conductor is twisted with the positive conductor and run down the middle of the cable while there's a braided shield around the outside that I have another ground strap for.

I'll try some different combination and see if that helps.

Hmmmm

Remember back when I was having Alt whine problems? The thing I found that caused alot of it was one of my old voltmeters I had in the dash, no clue how it caused it but as soon as I disconnected it my whine was cut in half. I know you have a few small things like that in your dash, maybe one of those is causing some of the issue?

Rear deck looks phenomenal. Looks almost factory. I might have to flock my head liner and my trim pieces in my car. Any way you can take a picture of the trigger blower? I think it is a little rediculus to charge 60+ bucks for an air nozzle type device. I could probably get something to work for much cheaper (granted might not come out with the same results).

They also sell a hand flocker, it's just two tubes one in the other and one with holes on the cap on an end.

A little jack off motion and you're shooting flock everywhere

I hate long signatures....

LOL

After trying it, yeah the hand flocker would probably work fine for smaller jobs.

Considering I'm going to be redoing my whole headliner and all the side pieces in my car in flock, i don't think the hand flocker would be the best idea lol.

Also on the alt whine, I notice the amp is mounted on a metal frame. Might want to try to isolate the amplifier from the metal frame. Might not do anything but a few pieces of scrap wood won't be hard to do just to see.

formerly known as Blue86f150

its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.

Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive
