wmrcs Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 Is there a way to lower my tuning with the box I already have? Ha.. it's just a slot port tuned to 33 or 34 and I want to drop it to 29 or so if possible. BESIDES TELLING ME TO BUILD A NEW BOX, how can I lower it if possible. E34 540iT/6
Dillan Turvold Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 you'd have to extend the port walls.. buy the same width fiberboard of ur box, liquid nail it on.. wouldn't be very durable and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it but it's an option. only costs around $80 to build a nice sturdy box exactly how you want it that's what i'd do... either way, good luck sir.

Torres Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 you can extend the port walls externally, depending on your setup. that will lower tuning and not take up any more volume inside the box itself.
