All this time Ive read where people say oh shit dont tune low. Thats Bs. They say it will hit the lows even if box is tuned 35-38hz. While semi true its bs. From my experience, the hdc3s should be tuned to 24-30hz not 35. Ive done my boxes 40,38,35,32,30,28 even 24. So I know what works with these subs. This thread I hope is a little more insight to new buyers from someone who has done all tunnings with the subs, and people looking for different ideas. There is a difference and alot of people think they are hitting the lows when its nothing more than just the speakers moving. I also know tuning sub 30 hz is the most ridiculous thing ever unless you run around listening to chopped and screwed music or boosted stuff and thats it. Just so you are aware my little tag under my name has nothing to do with me thinking you are wrong. Everyone also has a different idea of low. Id also like to know just how much hearing you are doing tuning(yes one n) that low. Considering the human ear tapers off around 25 hz. You may be hearing something but its not music. I am talking about hitting down low, below 30Hz, which about 30-25 you will hear, below that you will just feel it. And those who say it cant have probably never used them or heard them tuned lower than 35, and is just talking out the ass or copying what others online have said.
