There's no reason to not get a GTX 670/680 if you have the budget. Games right now will put a 470/480 at full load at 1080p@60hz. The 600-series will give you room to grow. Nobody wants to be limiting themselves with their brand new hardware the day they buy it. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . And AFAIK, they still take ~ a month after a game's release to drop a driver that has been optimized. nVidia releases the driver ~ a week before a high-profile game comes out. I think it was both BF3 and Skyrim that AMD couldn't do CF on for about two months after release. Maybe this is just me, but I refuse to reward mediocrity with my money. I only had 1 GPU when BF3 released and my only issue with it was trying to push it past 1GHz brought out some wonky issues with Afterburner and BF3. I got the second card just before the new year so I suppose it was just after they had ironed out any CrossFireX issues. I always suggest nVidia cards if someone's looking to play newer games though because they've been KILLING AMD in the performance area for some time now. If someone's looking to play something less demanding like WoW or some older DX9 games then AMD still has better price/performance most of the time. wtf is lolcats?
