Mr.BassMan
for some reason when i roll the windows down in my car, the bass isn't very loud.. the subs are 15" l7s and a zx2500.1, box is 9^3 side port tuned @31hz, subs on the top.. i was thinking either the tuning is too low, and the subs lose output when windows are down, or just the side port is making it sound not as loud.. the higher notes 45hz+ sound pretty much the same, but anything louder i lose ALOT of sound with the windows down.. any advice? Amart88
Every vehicle is different. All of the sound is not sealed inside when the windows are down so it could seem less loud but it is probably louder outside when they are down. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled. BassHead810
What vehicle is it? Do you have a sunroof? Every setup is different. My lows are loudest at my ear with the sunroof open and only passenger window down. But at 45hz and above it doesnt make much difference My 150+ Trunk Build Log Current Setup2 DC XL15's Crossfire XS-8K AudioControl Epic-150Mechman 250 amp altXS D3100 under hood 2 XS D3100 in TrunkSecondSkin Sound Deadening - 120+ sq ft Damplifier Pro2012 North American Street Stock Runner-up - 150.9 on 1800 clamped watts 2013 dB Drag Street Trunk World Champion - 153.9 on 3200 clamped Watts 2013 MECA Trunk 1 World Champion - 152.8 Headrest 2013 MECA Park & Pound 2 World Champion - 130.6My youtube channel (click for Hairtricks) Team dbAddicts Team DC Audio dcsoundlab.com
