SlamminBeats
Why are people so against this? I can give my 18 more than sufficient net cubes and the proper port. Sub up, port back Whats wrong with doing that?
Sheena
how close is it to the trunk lid? sub up port back probably isnt as loud as sealed forward in most applications. Omega5002
I don't see what's wrong with that, though people would say you can fit 2 15's instead of 1 18', but if it sounds good, then why not. Toofast4u
how close is it to the trunk lid? sub up port back probably isnt as loud as sealed forward in most applications. This. You can also fit more cone area with multiple subs in the same space an 18 would use. Edited May 22, 2012 by Toofast4u

Omega5002
Sounds a bit radical, but you could do a cutout for the 18' on the rear deck, that's another idea, seen it done before on one of the build logs. Yeah, with the 18' facing up in the trunk, you're gonna have one hell of a rattle. stroupe79
most dont prefer the 18 in trunk box because of trunk rattle alone...if you can seal it forward would be best option....maybe you can slant the sub but most likely that wont work either unless your trunk is pretty tall...good luck Quote http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
