loudNlow87
I have basically the same setup. In my sig. After being tuned to 30, I'd go a bit higher. I honestly won't ever build another box at 30 unless it's for someone else. It certainly isn't going to help the spl factor being tuned that low either. You're gonna peak around 42hz in that vehicle. john253a
Idd def go 33-35 if not 37hz if you want it loud 35 will give you a bit of both, I've built my far share of 40+hz boxes for 15" mostly kicker stuff and for people who are more concerned about being herd then hearing the music they way it should be, I just finished a box for a single 12 at 47hz cose he wanted it built exactly to the mainfactorys specs, Tuning high is ok if that's your thing but if you lission to any rock or live music you missout a bit I've found 35-38hz is as high as I like to go on 15's and remain musical but 32-33 is number that I like to tune most to as it just seems to work well in a lot cars and different sub sizes Edited June 13, 2012 by john253a

BobbyG2
Hey man, I'm building this box for my two Obsidian 15D4's on a Sundown SAE 1200D in my 98 Mountaineer Maybe it'll work for you too: You shoulda got them in D4 Ohm, though! Those subs are gonna laugh at 300WRMS each! Quote *New vehicle and system coming soon.*

BobbyG2
I don't think I'll have any issues with port noise. If I do, I'll just cut out the port, patch the box, and go with 3 6 in. Aero's. I just don't want too much port area and unload, or not be musical enough.
