Best way to cover that sub 30 hz range

But what music goes that low? Bass boosted stuff and chopped anspd screwed very little goes below 30 hertz commercially.

Yeah in general thats true. There is still some very low frequency material present in high quality recorded tracks though. Like a kick drum may have a fundamental frequency in the 50-60s but there are components of the sound down in the 20hz region that need to be played to have the realism desired in a true sq system. For a more daily "good sounding" system though I agree its generally not necessary to play so low

In for suggestions on how to get 2 8s to play so low though, I am trying to do the same with my 2 8s in my room and can't seem t get them to play too well below 30

That's the breakdown of an iasca sq CD that should help you some. A lot of true sq guys run sealed or a desperate sub stage for the sq portion and split portion

buddy of mine has two blues car audio subwoofers tuned to 22 hz and it gets really low, honestly you prolly dont need to go any lower than 25hz even for sq

My front stage plays down to 40 with ease. I just need the rest to be covered. maybe take some pressure off the front stage.

But yes I want to be able to hear all audible frequencies

Ive only seen 3 SQ autos (true sound quailty) in my time... all were running sealed enclosures.... got low? hell yes,...

AT N8 - that build, that insane build from the dude that started HAT,... the dude that set the record in SQ with a score well over 9 hun...... he runs sealed no????? (please help me remeber the build, as i cant remember my home address)

There's a guy here that made a T-line box to a 6.5', now using it on an 8', and he says it's gets really low.

I do like Cablguy's setup, best vehicle I've ever heard in my life.
