Hey, ... long time, no type! lol

That BATT did quite a good job ... like I tried to explain to folks around these parts, I put out a statement saying it helped approximately 85% vs. the ridiculousness that I had. I additionally upgraded my Big 3's GND from 4awg to 1/0, & made a better ALT to BATT cable out of much better 4awg ... yeah, I know ... 4awg.

As you know, I run POS & GND from the BATT all the way to the amps (terminals) ... in not the greatest quality 4awg ... Then I used Knu FleKs 4awg from the terminals out to the breakers & amps, but one thing I never did, & did not think about doing, was to additionally GND the NEG terminal out back to a chassis/frame point. So I got help in doing that, & that made a rather noticeable difference.

I had the ALT slapped on a VAT 45 the other day, & it had no problem spitting out 166A @ 14.6v. (See below post.)

I have to get help again to take voltage drop measurements with the car running, etc., ... then I have a re-wiring I am undertaking ... POS & NEG - front to beck - & ALT to BATT cable. Then take measurements again, ... I should be all set then.

MechMan S Series 170A on VAT 45 with 4awg Bullz Audio ALT to BATT cable in place. (Changed soon, & retested in a couple weeks ... see if I can get that last 4A out of it!):

There is no box my friend. The entire trunk is the box essentially. Google infinite baffle.

There is no "box". It is an Infinite Baffle setup. The subs are mounted underneath the baffle, & fire "up into" the cabin of the car.

For lack of a better explanation, the whole 15+ cubic feet of the trunk is the "box". This is what these particular model of subs is used for.

It's pretty awesome from a accuracy and musical standpoint. They can get loud too. Mid 40's is definitely possible. You see it more in sq builds than anything else.
