Autruche
You can buy copper threaded rod, then you just need to find copper washers and copper nuts. Honestly, I would not use brass. I would at least use aluminum nuts, bolts, and washers if I were concerned about it's conductivity. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? Tarball
I actually found the bolts and washers I had used (15 years ago) in my tool box. It was brass threaded rod and everything else copper. If you cant find copper bolts anywhere maybe you can us a raw copper rod and run a die over it and make your own threaded rod. http://store.electrical-insulators-and-copper-ground-bars.com/copper-rod--250.html Not cheap at all though and at this site the shortest length is 48" CURRENT SYSTEM: Alternator: Stock alt on mids/highs Isolated DC Power 270 SP - Charging @ 16.8v Batteries: (2) XS D1400s Power Cable: Double Runs of 1/0 KNU Kolossus Fleks Headunit: 80-PRS Sub Amp: DC 5.0k Subwoofers: 2 RE MT 15s /PSI dual .7ohm recones Subwoofer Enclosure: 9.1cubes @ 32hz - brutal. purplesyrup
For future reference, i'm with my friend that is a hardware importer in the Midwest, I should have called him first but he was on vacation during my mission. Solid copper bolts do no exist, metal is too soft, any copper bolt seen online is mixed with steel. Aluminum is as good.as you can get in my situation. beatinpearls
Had wondered the same thing about metal conductivity. My technical school said aluminum wasnt a very good conductor but by the posted chart, its better than the brass that I am using. I have a sealed box so I pretty much had to use bolts. Getting replaced with aluminum asap. thanks guys.
