Granted this thing will never become a realization because it probably would sound terrible if it would even work at all but anyways. Underhung 6 inch diameter voicecoil with 1.5 inch tall windings in a 3 inch neo gap. the purpose of this being to have the VC completely saturated throughout the majority of its excursion. Under mounted Spider for Stupid linearity. with a footlong VC former, gotta keep it moving straight. 19mm oneway excursion before any VC windings have left the gap 38mm oneway by the time half the windings have left the gap The sheer size of this this thing is rather silly with the bottom plate of the motor sitting at a slim 17 inch diameter. Besides the neo, that motor wouldn't be that hard/costly to make. It's a nasty idea for sure. And definitely something I wouldn't wanna recone.
