Good looking work in here as always> I haven't had anything to contribute so I've been gone a while. With new house and purchase of a project car my stereo fund has been cut to nothing. But as with any addiction you can only stay gone so long....So time to change something and it's this damn rectangular box....it's loud but takes up too much room and is ugly so instead i will make something to go on the left side and rplace this I lost the pic of fiberglassing work but this is what came out Then The baffle and trim piece Ports, only about 9 sqaure inches per ft3 but I don't really have room for anymore coming together and fiberglassing this to trim out the back of enclosure waiting for fiberglass to set on side wall and will add some layres to back wall tonight, will have more pics

AP Zoutes Posted December 29, 2007 Author Report Posted December 29, 2007 here's some progress.... side wall added probably can't tell but about 30ozs. of resin and a couple of layers of chop added to back That's it for tonight. Should have enclosure done tomorrow and then add an amp rack to the top and that molded piece.

Forevrbumpn Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 nice glassin job, getting that mold right I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
AP Zoutes Posted December 29, 2007 Author Report Posted December 29, 2007 putting the top on will be the hardest part....the ports are in the way and I have some uneveness to work out....may glass the outside and then reinforce the inside still nothing like alot of the work that's in here

AP Zoutes Posted December 30, 2007 Author Report Posted December 30, 2007 today's progress Got the top added Had to cut this corner out will be adding fiberglass and wood but out of latex gloves and wnna watch football Made an amp rack And everything starting to come together Need to fiberglass the side molding to the enclosure. Debating molding the side of the amp rack to the enclosure. It will smooth out the look but looks like a total PIA to accomplish especially contouring it around the factory trim.
