RAM5493 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 might sound like a stupid question but did you ask anyone at any of the local business around if they saw anything like a group of people (3-4) hanging around? Sometimes people see a crime and dont even realize it or say anything unless asked. Im only asking because i once drove past a high school at around 930 am where 4 people were walking in a field (With no trees or anything else, just green grass) across the (busy) street with a sub box and amp. I looked in the school lot as i drove by and saw a jeep with its window busted. Put 2 and 2 together and called the police. After the they were caught i was told by the police i was the only person who had called this in. When i was in court to testify about what i saw once again the police said only one witness. So if i were you id get real nosey and start asking people who are around durring the day. Goodluck ! Very true man, living in a huge city like NYC I hear about things like this happen all the time. like WTF it was in a parking lot in broad day light. Someone saw something. My brother is into Hondas and he got his Civic stollen about 4 years ago and we poked around for like 3 months, looking for buildings with cameras and asking people and stuff. We eventually found someone in our neighborhood with my brothers engine and he was honest and told us who he bought it from, turns out someone we knew sent his cousin from another borough to steal it. He received the ass beating of his life and we ran up in his garage took everything we could fit in my fathers 4runner plus took his car and stripped every damn piece of it and then had a buddy of ours dump the bare shell a few blocks from his house. rolltidetbw Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 Sorry to hear that OP I too back in high school had a $4,000 system stolen which took me months to build up so I know how it feels but don't give up car audio is a passion and had a lot of good people in it so just use this as a time to rebuild even better this time.To anybody that is thinking about stealing somebody's system just think how you would feel if it was you'd car before you steal somebody's stuff!!OP good luck and I hope you keep your head up and rebuild!! He said they found out for sure who had taken his brothers Honda, and paid them back. Sorry, but most people do not consider that stealing. That is called justice, and it doesn't happen all that often. I'm glad to hear that it does happen sometimes. Like I said earlier, thieves have no fear, no consequences. Even if the police catch them, what will they get? Probation and a fine. Like the guy who stole my Mustang, he got 4 years probation, and a fine he will never pay. I lost over $20,000, and it ruined my life for several years. Btw it was a 2004 GT, and it was stolen in 2006. I only had liability insurance, since it was paid for, (what a mistake...) He took the car, I took the loss. He did wind up getting his, but I don't wanna discuss that publicly I'd have NO PITY on any thief, I say beat them down and show 'em how it feels!!!
