Zapanater Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 So I'm starting on my enclosure tomorrow, and was wondering on what people suggest using for getting rid of sharp corners. I've done some research, and come up with three basic options. I can use just straight resin. I can use mixed resin and fiberglass mat. And then i thought that's alot like kitty hair. Any suggestion on which is best? I have the material to do any of them, and regular bondo as well. Also I don't want to build too much mass in the corners so as to change my tuning. At the moment I like the sound of the kitty hair. Which I love, because the stuff is magical when you're restoring a rusty old car... (different project) 2015 Subaru Outback. Hotdog Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 get you an 8" Sonotube and cut it in to 4 pieces and put them in the corners. They work real good if your wanting to round them off. You can use resin to make them permanent to, or you can use duck tape and try it out first before you resin them in. Why even waste time on 45s? Just to make her look puuurty. I'm thinking some plexiglass may find its way into it. 2015 Subaru Outback. That is all, I refuse to touch it.
