Ive encountered a few people who can't solder worth a shit but will swear by it. Maybe it's just me but making a connection with a less conductive metal isn't going to be better than a hammer crimp....it just might look nicer

I paid $150 dealer cost 6 years ago. Johnny248 Posted June 19, 2012 Author Report Posted June 19, 2012 I set up 10 4ga and 10 1/0 power cables and rings to start soldering. I remember why I stopped doing it along time ago lol The 4ga isnt too bad, the 1/0 is kind of a pain in the ass. That being said, I may look into one of those hydraulic crimpers. They had one at a place I worked out several years ago, but I swear back then they were several hundred dollars. -= J-dUb =- ....no 12 step program can cure my car audio addiction...
