purplesyrup Posted June 21, 2012 Report Share Posted June 21, 2012 back in the day, I had hooked one up to an HD tv using HDMI, then unhooked it and went to a non HDMI tv, I could not use the PS3 until I hooked it back up to an HDMI, and switched the settings back to the normal AV mode, then it worked fine. When you do that just turn the ps3 off and hold down the power button, it will turn on and continue holding it down until it turns back off then release the button. When you turn it back on it will have reset the video settings and will now show up on your tv. I've had to do this a few times. I read that it may need to be replaced then it should work.
