Slapuhho
My 2500BD was only .5db quieter than my Lanzar Opti6k. 155dbz with a RF 2500. Great amp.. it's been my baby for 3 years now. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. Team gg Team DOA My Videos

HHR Ed
This is very true. The CP's design allows it to combat box rise more than most any other amp. Ed, do you care to briefly explain how "Constant Power" works, or is it really complicated? Is the gain essentially just automatically changed as impedance and frequency change? I dont have any detailed insight into RFs design. But I do believe that its mostly in the firmware programmed into the amp. It can be similar to the lighting inverters I used to program with Razorlite. We called them "FlatLine" Because the graphical line of brightness would be flat among various sized light panels, which were loads just like woofers. The idea is the the processor would read the load attached to the output and essentially it would raise or lower the voltage depending on how that load changed. In the case of our light panels, the lights would dim over time because their electrical impedance would increase with life, so the inverter would sense this and slowly increase voltage as life went on. An amplifier is an inverter, and modern amps have firmware, so it is possible to make the amp increase output voltage automatically as it senses the load increasing. The speed in which it does this is dependent on the processor used and we all know that we can have super fast processors in small packages nowadays. alaskanzx5
The whole shell of an amp is the heat sink see i thought the shell in a whole was a casing while the heat sink being the part that kinda wraps around the the 3 edges that the controls/input/outputs arent on. when you click the learn more link on the rockford site forthe dtm it shows a heat image of the heat traveling out away from the center evenly across that outer edge t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. Cashdollar2009
Can you wire to 2 ohm and re clamp the amp would love to see those results Can you wire to 2 ohm and re clamp the amp would love to see those results Once I get the time I probably could and post them up here. The amplifier was also DD-1'd and at maximum un-clipped head unit volume so that is clean power as well. On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not.
