RooTxBeeR
http://www.parts-exp...tnumber=260-150 Been putting together a future home audio set-up, will be doing 4 towers, one in each corner. Want to do a 10" subwoofer, 4-6" midrange, and a tweeter. I am looking to be able to cross over the sub just short of 100. Then bandpass the midrange from300-500 to 3k, and have the tweet handle from there on up. Only thing I can understand from what info that thing gives, is it crosses over at 375 and 3k, that's it? Or does it do more? Also if anyone knows a crossover to do what I am looking let me know. skittlesRgood
looks like its low pass at 375, high pass at 3000, then bandpass in the middle. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. LZTYBRN
I know designing things yourself is a lot of the fun of DIY, but if you want some tried and tested speaker designs where you don't have to deal with trying to find a premade crossover that will fit your specific needs, I would look around this forum http://techtalk.parts-express.com/ And here's a page with links to all the different designers' websites. Lots of designs to choose from to meet your needs for space, budget, frequency response, etc. http://techtalk.part...speaker-designs Some good towers in there for sure. I wouldn't rund the tweeters below 2000 htz ... I want to do two subs a tower, one fro 1-around 30, and then from there up. I don't know exactly about box tunings yet, When I get the subs I want to use I will build a few different boxes to see what my best option would be. It says available in a variety of crossover points, so you may find one that has the crossover frequencies you want. Indeed, I am thinking about the 500/5k crossover but this will not be attempted for quite a while, so there will be a lot of time for research to make sure its done right.
