First let me say HUGE shoutout to my man REVOofRustler for letting me borrow his tools. Cool guy with a cleannnnn build. Couldn't have happened without 'ya :)

The 12s I got used. Pretty much the same as far as Mayhem's go, price wise.

You'd have to email crossfire for pricing on the amp :)

Anyways... This was one of those few days where I got all that I wanted to, done. The "turd" box is coming along. There is no aesthetic finishing on it and things were pretty rushed. Threw it together in ~3.5-4 hours. Hence the turd factor lol. If I like the box I'll pretty it up later. But for now I wanted something playing for a meet Sunday :P

Oh... And I DID measure the tubes. They stack them inside eachother to save on shipping, that's why there's the difference in sizing. I found some that were 8"id ;)

Port in my car for reference

So.. That's where I'm at. All set to start tuning on Friday. Really, really hoping I can pull a 150 legal out of this. I'll be a happy guy if I can since that would mean I can do a '50 below the cargo cover haha

Box style kinda reminds me of my old one lol

Lol at you snorting the saw dust. On another note the box is looking great! are you making a flare for the sonotube?

Posted

Not too concerned about flaring YET. I don't think it will make or break it so that will come later if I decide I like the box. Right now my only goal is to get it structurally sound haha. If I like it I'll throw some paint or carpet on there and make it look all purty ;)

It's looking good! I'm really hoping you get the 50 out of it!
