My max dimensions in the rear of my 2008 saturn vue are: D=29 W=36 H=19. Specs for sub: RE. 4 ohm FS 35.4 Qes 0.69 Qms 2.67 qts 0.55 vas 73.1 BL 19 Le 4.0 MMS 284.8 Ported 2.5 to 3.75 ft^3 @ 31 to 36 Hz Thanks! Joe X Posted June 24, 2012 Report Share Posted June 24, 2012 (edited) Can't do subs up in a trunk (at least in this case). with only 36" W here is a suggestion subs/ports front/back: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 35.6 Hz Vb = 6.15 ft^3 External Height = 19 in External Width = 36 in External Depth = 22.5 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 36 x 19 Left & Right Sides = 20 1/4 x 17 1/2 Top & Bottom = 36 x 20 1/4 Port Quantity and Dimensions: Number of Ports = 2 Pipe Port Diameter = 6 Pipe Port Length = 15 Edited June 24, 2012 by Joe X Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This suggestion is preliminar, you need to check the outside diameter of your subs to be 15.5" and I estimated the driver displacement, if you have that information post it to check, yes I placed two top to bottom crossbraces, one of which is visible on the sketchup, you could add some more if you feel necessary.
