3 Sundown SA-12s or 3 Sundown SA-8 V2s?

In your opinion, which do you think would be better? I'm leaning towards the SA-8s because the box would be smaller but they'd still get pretty loud.

it all depends on the application.... if you have enough space go with the 12's..if not the 8's...that or go with 2 12's and save yourself some cash..lotta options..whats the power and vehicle?

It'll be going into a Honda Civic LX Sedan. I have enough room to mount 3 12's but the box would have to be built inside the trunk. As for the power, I don't have any amps powerful enough at the moment, but I was thinking a Bass Inferno BI2000DX, or 3 AutoTek Mean Machine M1600.2s. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears. As for application, I'm just a daily driver at the moment who wants a lot of bass. I do plan on going to Db Drags in the future though.

If you do 4 8" it would be better,

But idd say it all comes down to price,

Myself idd say 2x12 and 4x 8" the 8" would be better

But if you have space 3 12 anyday.

I'm going for the same setup with 3 SA-12s.

I just threw in my 2 12s yesterday and honestly they're more than enough.

I'm running a BRZ2100.1D atm. My subs are D2 so they're being ran @ 2 ohms right now.

SA-8s look sexy, but the 12s fucking slam.

Never heard an 8 so I can't really give much opinion on them. But the cone area on the 12s will def be superior vs the 8s.

Well, I've seen 1 SA-8V2 in an SPL setup do around 150 Db. If the excursion is a lot further, then I guess the 8s would do more work.
