Vito Basser
You mean one of these 'bad boys' ? Note the 80A fuse! You might get 800w rms out of it. If your going to get some decent subs, at least give them some decent power! Get a second hand Orion 2500d, Orion HCCA D5000, SPL Dynamics, Ground Zero etc... You should be able to pick one of these up for £200-£300 and they will all make real power. On top of this your going to need some 0awg power cable, if you haven't already. Cazz
Well I thought because the SA 8's are 500 Watts each that meant 4 was 2k Watts so why would I need a 3k Watt amp? I am new to this so sorry if this is a stupid question.
Guest
audioque 2200 crescendo 2000 dc 2.0 bunch of amps will work

Cazz
So if I was to get a Mean Machine it would sound bad? lets say my budget was £1000 that means the SA-8 V2's will take £520 of that + an amp + a battery + wires, hmm maybe £1500. Just lets try to get it as cheap as possible.
Emmet
Ok so £834.99 for the SAZ-2500D is there any cheaper because the subs are going to cost me around £520 without the postage, so its going to be around 1.4k. Where the hell did you get that quote? Quick google search and this was near the top... There is almost certainly cheaper... http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B003ZWCRTW Also... theres a t2000bd in the for sale section for $400 plus shiping. So most likely just a hair over £300 Edited June 27, 2012 by Emmet Quote i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah.. Joe X
Some better amps listed above but this can do the job fairly well for $279 and is CEA certified: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23549_Hifonics-Brutus-BRZ2100.1D.html
