your talking about more power handling thats why I mentioned it. I ran a crescendo 3500 @.5 per woofer and beat the crap out of them. They would hardly get warm

yea the bigger coil would be a plus for sure

Bigger coil doesn't necessarily mean more power handling it means more surface area for cooling.

To some extent yes. But it all depends on number of layers, material which the coil is made of, etc.
