Going to wire it down to .5 ohm tomorrow and possibly use 2 rockfords to see if it fixes the issue.

Pro7 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 If they are both wired to 2 ohms and each sub connected to their own speaker outs on the amp (which is internally bridged) then the amp should be seeing 1 ohm I've gotten a blowjob and picked up my iphone behind her back to see what email notification I got from smd before

Going to wire it down to .5 ohm tomorrow and possibly use 2 rockfords to see if it fixes the issue. so wait...they're at 2 ohms while hooked up? before you go and wire to a dangerous ohm load on an amp that is veeeeery expensive to fix, unhook all speaker wires from all subs so you just have the terminals. measure each voice coils' impedance. report back

SlamminBeats Posted July 6, 2012 Author Report Posted July 6, 2012 i did, resistance at coils is 2.7, then each is 5.4-5.6 after series, normal each sub is wired in series, then in parallel at the amp, the final load is 2 ohms, 100% sure. i assume the subs just arent getting enough power. this thing isnt even doing a 140 according to my ear-o-meter. maybe a 135 bad bad bad
