are you serious you dont have to run a negative battery wire to the back battery?

just run the + to the rear batt and then ground the neg to the frame/chassis.

Well you can but the frame is the best.

i mean like damn where's the nearest bolt on the frame?

Just drill your own hole and use your own bolt

dont get the frame confused with the body.....the body is good too but the frame is the best. A wise man told me that.

it all depends on what your goals are though........for me, i have 4 alternators and 6 batterys in back so i want it to be as solid of a ground as possible. As solid as the (+) side anyway. For a normal every day install i would say frame is great but once your electrical system starts getting more complex and the battery bank in the back gets bigger its time to start running grounds all the way to the front. When your talking about doing that though i always still use a frame ground as well. So to me by the time your ready to run wires to the front then it never hurts to do both.

Thanks for the reply meade.....i think ill stick with the big three done and a 1/0 ground to the frame untill i get a lot more batts in the back OR a HO alt.
