here is top view of the port to give ya an idea on the measurements

portmeasurements.jpg

first thing is to get all ur wood cut...measure twice, cut once...

cut list:

(2) 20" x 32" - top/bottom

(2) 20" x 14.5" - sides

(1) 30.5" x 14.5" - back

(1) 27.25" x 14.5" -front

(1) 15.25" x 14.5" - port, L1

(1) 5 3/8" x 14.5" - port, L2

then it is just a matter of slapping some glue on there and screwing it together. make sure you wipe down the edges of the wood to get the extra saw dust off so the glue adhears properly. put a screw ever 4 or 5" or so...make sure all of the edges are air tight on the inside with either wood glue or silicone or something....use a good wood glue, like titebond. predrill your screw holes and then go back and countersink the holes a bit, then shoot the screws in...take your time...really take your time and make sure everything is perfect before you do it...

i likes me some audio stuff...

One thing i would recommended is to cut your wood yourself not have homedepot or lowes do it no offense to anyones

very good advice. but even better is the old saying measure twice cut once. and if you modify you cut list think about how it will affect every other piece. i built a box today and modified a measure and i ended up with a 1" gap at my dividing wall. so just becareful and measure alot

in other words take a scrap board and make measurements and snap/draw your cut line and learn to cut on the correct side of the line... cut on the wrong side too much and your cut is now off 1/8-1/4 inch
