kr15 Posted July 27, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 27, 2012 This build is basically done. I need to upload the pics. I ended up going with a PRS80 and im running 3way active. Substage isnt as loud as I thought it would be, but it plays flat from about 28-45hz so what can you do? Mid range is decent but lacks that dynamic punch that I want. The tweeters are probabley the strong point of the system right now. kr15 Posted August 5, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2012 Went to first show using Acura yesterday My SQ Street score was 57.25. As expected my tweeters were my strong point. My biggest markdown was "too much sub", LOL, I guess its only fitting for an spl guy to get docked in that area. I also had staging issues as far as depth and height is concerned. Gotta work at getting that tuned out. My Street 2 spl run I did 142.7 @38hz. My Drive By 2 run I did 114.9 using Trap House by Gucci Mane. I was limited initially because I built for the SQ stock class, and then had to run SQ Street anyways due to additional batteries. If i decide to stay Street rather then Stock, then I believe I am allowed kick pods.
