looks good.................but ive got a question. ive seen you sau you need to buy a charger for the xs batt. ive seen that posted 2 other times in diff post. does it mean you have to keep battery charged? because i assumed if my front battery and the xs batt i have in the back is both being charged by alternator. am i just stupid or am i missing something?

I went to a shop and they charged it up a little just to bring the voltage to 12.7 so i could install the alt with out any problems but no you dont have to charge it now. i was making sure my voltages were perfect.

Nice build man! i built my first box for a single cab s10, put 2 12s. wish i had a little more room for some nice subs like this. its alright for a daily tho & i work from 3am to 8am lol

what does anyone else think? getting sound deadner next week and will install the box and subs and waiting for the amp.

As an owner of an 01 GMC 2500hd regular cab this build is SWEET. The box looks awesome it should be really loud. I'm in the process of building a big system in my car but I have cheap shallow mount 12's in a sealed box for my truck. Your system is going to be LOUD compared to mine. I'll keep watching this one!

definitely get sound deadener for back wall...............i should have done that before i installed my setup...........ball wall flexes like hell.......only deadener i have for my truck is the doors. but you have given me an idea for a futute setup if i try to put 2 more sa8v.2's

yeah man i am glad i did all my electrical first it is a lot of the work running all the wires alternator and battery but its well worth it. and now all i need is a amp and a little more fiberglassing and deadnner. So excited to hear it.
