Does anybody have any experience or know this to be true....running a dual 2ohm pap wmd2k 18 to it.. thanks again. If not find a 1ohm stable amp.co worker has wmd218 wih audiopipe to amp at 1ohm amp smoked..got stestom amp way better.those audiopipe amps suck. Guest Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 no. you do realize that the 3000 version is literally just 2 1500 boards stuck in one case? people who are actually running the 3000 at 1 ohm, have crazy rise, which makes the amp see over 2 ohms. dolarbilz Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 You can run each coil to a channel but its going see 2ohms a channel wich is 750 or you can still bridge it at 4ohms see 1500 its the same. Guest Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 how are they confusing...because they have two sets of speaker terminals? if you wire each coil to each set of amp terminals, the amp will still parallel them internally. so 2 2 ohm coils will turn into 1 ohm.
