TheGoat
I've heard a few different things about this but is it ok to mount an amp to a sub box?
OrionStang
People say that the vibrations can damage internals, but think about it, the whole car vibrates. And what about all the vibrations of driving. I don't think its such a bad idea, especially if you're tight on space. c.director
If the box is vibrating your losing output anyway, so make the box strong and you'll be fine. Jessica
I was thinking about this today, and i thought the same as others have said, if the box is build right and it's rigid enough, it would be the safest place for the amps. since it is pretty much the source for vibrations. I mean, who puts deadener on the sub box? Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work.
