i don't know a ton about the dd1 but can't you also figure out when your deck starts to distort also?

You sure can!

I know what you're talkin about with the terminals! I'd like to replace mine, but they're workin fine for now, so they're not too high on my priority list. I'll have to check out your build!

Just got done setting my gain with the DD1! First, I found that my deck clipped at 47 out of 50, which I was pretty surprised about considering it's a Sony...

I never really go past 30 on my deck, so I used track 7 (the louder one) to set my gains, and I do think it got a bit louder! This tool is awesome!

I'm not too worried about my score right now with the Type R. I'll be a bit more interested when I get the Fi though! Optimistically, I'm hoping to hit 140 (whether it's a burp or on music, I don't really care). Realistically though, I'm thinkin closer to a 138. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though!

Haha I think I read somewhere on here that it was hard to get loud in Dakotas. I guess we'll just have to find out!
